Once again, the TC is conducting a letter ballot to forward BASIS17 back to
ANSI.  If that ballot passes, BASIS17 will become the dpANS. I think the
deadline for that ballot is sometime in late July.  We will let you know after
the deadline how the voting process turned out.  I'm also hoping to have the
"rules" for public comment posted at that time.  So, stay tuned, and cross
your fingers.
