I recall seeing a posting in this newsgroup about a recently-announced video
input chip.  I do not recall the specifics of the posting but believe the
chip was low-cost and (?) pixel-addressable without additional circuits.  In
other words, this is NOT your typical CCD video-camera chip but was a chip
better suited to a robot "eye" etc.  Does anyone recall seeing this......
or was it all a dream????
