Lines: 21 Nntp-Posting-Host: achilles.doc.ic.ac.uk If I set up .forward and .maildelivery in the prescribed way, I get the following problem: messages get appended in files as directed in .maildelivery, but they get appended with no "From " line and with ^A^A at the beginning and at the end. (Of course they have a "From:" line, but no "From " line.) What's worse, this also happens fpr the default case, which goes to /var/spool/mail/mdr, whether or not I explicitly state this default in .maildelivery. inc cannot handle this; it can't split /var/spool/mail/mdr into its constituent messages, rather it thinks there is just one (long) message there. Has anyone else had this problem? What to do? Mark Ryan mdr@doc.ic.ac.uk (Answers by email, and I will summarise. Thanks.)
