[...] What would break if you simply NFS or RFS mount your main machine's /usr/spool into some other machines setting up the passwd, Systems, Permissions, etc. to be identical or symlinks? I suppose the device names for the tty lines should all be unique. Then just set up the uucp's to lie about the machine name so it all pretends to be one machine, and only run uuxqt on the main system. I'm pretty sure this would work reliably using RFS, and the only thing NFS might mess up would be creating the LCK..machine lockfiles.
