Also, ad advise skipping the step of storing >40 hours< of VHS video, and sound. Just have it come off a videdisk, or buy a VHS deck that has remote control inputs for computer controls.. Get yourself an Amiga, a good sized hard drive (80-330 meg or so). From there, your Amiga will comewith a Multimedia package called AmigaVision, and all documentation is included with it. A very VERY smooth, feature-packed easy to use presentation maker. Total budget: I could do it for around $2500-$3000.
