Summary: Any software available that will show chord, derivatives, and inversion Keywords: chords, and inversions Message-ID: Date: 28 Jun 91 20:25:05 GMT Sender: usenet@ra.MsState.Edu Distribution: usa Lines: 22 Nntp-Posting-Host: wally.cc.msstate.edu I was wondering if anyone knows of any software (hopefully public domain) which will show chords, and their inversions? For example, I'd like to enter something like Cmaj7, and it would show me the appropriate key placement on the piano, and hopefully all the inversions. I've seen little chord 'calculators' that do this, but at $50, they seem a little expensive. I can enter chords in band-in-a-box, but it has to calculate the bass parts, etc., so it takes a while to see what I need. At worst case, does anyone publish a pocket-size chord chart? I've seen ads in keyboard for the wall-size poster, but that a little tough to carry around! Thanks Eddie Mikell
