When the CPSR "deplores the use of computers in the Gulf War" I wonder
which of two positions they want to promote:

(1) That the war should not have been fought?
      Are they experts on military strategy and international relations?
      Are they pacifists?  If so, do they come out and say so?

(2) That the war should have been fought, but without computers?
      Seems to me it would have been much bloodier that way.
