The DTC5150 controller works with modifications to the hard disk driver in
Minix.  The method of addressing and plug configuration on the controller
are critical for proper operation.  I modified the driver and posted changes seve
several years ago. Should be in one of the archives. If you can't find them,
send me a note and I will try to dig them out for reposting. 
DTC has an additional programmers book for their drives. A telephone call
to them will get you a copy for your controller.
