Granted that almost all modern drives use greater number of platter to increase capacity than to increase the number of cylinders, it's getting rare to find drives with greater than 1024 cylinders anyways. Unfotunately, I'm one of those unlucky ones who have to still use SpeedStor 8(. Tc
