Keywords: dBASE Message-ID: <1991Jun26.062826.15989@uniwa.uwa.oz> Date: 26 Jun 91 06:28:26 GMT Sender: news@uniwa.uwa.oz (USENET News System) Distribution: comp Organization: University of Western Australia Lines: 29 Nntp-Posting-Host: sunny.gis.uwa.oz.au Does anyone out there have experience with using DOS D-Base IV on a pc-nfs network What I want to do is install D-Base IV on a pc-nfs mounted drive (physically situated on a SUN disk), instead of a local pc drive. The problem is when I run the D-Base install program and specify the K: drive as the install drive, installation completes OK but executing D-Base hangs the pc. It runs OK if I install on to C: drive. I have tried this running PC NFS 3.0.1, and more recently on PC NFS 3.5 (demo version of v.4). I have not as yet received version 4.
