  I was wondering if anoyne would like to share their joys and tears about 
purchasing a 9600bps V.32, V.42bis modem.  It will be a personal purchase, 
and be used to log on to my college terminal server, and also many of the
local BBS's.
  So far, I'm looking at a Practical Peripheral PM9600SA (V.42, V.42bis, MNP/5,
V.32 compliant, 5 year warranty, etc., etc....  for around $462.  (Any better
deals that anyone has noticed?)
