I have kermit, but in all honesty, it is realy slow. I have looked at the files available at cheops, without any luck. Any pointers or input would be greatly appreciated. On a (semi) related note. I have heard of an editor called "Jove" which is an Emacs work-alike, but is significantly smaller and does not have all of the bells and whistles (ie mail system and LISP interpreter) which I do not need. The above plea for pointers or input applies here as well. Thanks for any help, Fritz -- J.
