Yep, it installs on a hard disk, and, IMHO, that is really the only way
to play the game.  It accesses the disk every time you want to look at the
map (and you have to do this at least once per mission for copy protection).
On a floppy system, this is extremely slow.  On a hard disk, it is tolerable.
