Greetings---

  I missed this the first time through myself, but some of the doors have
"switches" to the right, about halfway-up from the floor, right at the
border of the door and the wall.  They're kinda hard to see...

  Anyway... you should find some keys and other assorted nasties when
you get them open.  Note: some doors *don't* have switches.  You're on
your own there...
