I don't know if the Maxtor supports reselection (It probably does), because I have one hd. The Maxtor LXT-340s leaves the quantum drives in the dust. I sold My quantum drive because the maxtor blew it away.. I don't have the need for reselection because I no longer have two drives.. Before u say you'll need reselection when u get that tape-backup, I'll say no I don't because I am using my faster hardframe 2000 for the Maxtor and have the slower GVP series II scsi host on my accelerator waiting for a tape-backup. -Tom
