It is therefore not possible to make use of devices which may be dismounted during system operaton" Let's say I mount an external disk with mount or mtvol, does this mean I cannot use the swapon command with this device as an argument ? So the only way to use the swapon command is to split a disk into more than one logical volume ? ?
