A draw program is one which in >effect keeps a geometrically or mathematically precise representation of >the picture you are constructing and prints or displays it (if you wish) >at the highest resolution possible on the output medium. A paint >program, however, only works at the resolution of the GS screen, which >is pretty crude compared to many of the printers now available. Also, There are at least two draw programs for the IIgs (in addition to the AppleWorks GS draw/paint module). The first is Draw Plus by Activision/Mediagenic, a fairly old program that is probably no longer supported. The second is Beagle Bros' Beagle Draw (formerly Top Draw by StyleWare). This is a powerful, reliable program, and Beagle Bros' support is top-notch. ________________________________________________________________________ | | || "One becomes a critic when one cannot be an artist, just as a man || ||| becomes a stool pigeon when he cannot be a soldier." --Flaubert ||| ||| ________________________________________ ||| ||| | | "IIgs...the power to crush ||| || | Internet....DannySpalt@bbs.oit.unc.edu | the other kids" || |__|________________________________________|____________________________| -- The opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Campus Office for Information Technology, or the Experimental Bulletin Board Service. internet: bbs.oit.unc.edu or 128.109.157.30
