The 'mfps' utility by Axel Mahler only treats Metafiles with some conventions, such as the ones created by GemDraw or EasyDraw : for instance, the 'metafile extents' *must* be set, and there are other restrictions. A possibility would consist in printing the Metafile with the old OUTPUT.APP with a GDOS PostScript driver (it exists, but I don't remember where I've seen it). Let me know if it works.
