Lines: 21 Hi folks ! Me again... Thank you to those who have replied to my earlier posting, I now have a request for bits from UK (Mainland) VAX sites. I have been luck enough to obtain a VAX-11/785 (which works - and consumes a modest amount of power). I really intend to treat this machine as a kind of "home-computer", something to "learn" and by which I can get valuable VAX experience. My primary passions in the computing field are Graphics and Operating Systems / Compilers. To mess about in these fields huge amounts of storage capacity are required, I already have a pair of RM03's but they are too small to do anything serious. I would like to know if anyone out there can offer me some out of date / unsupported kit which is reliable and not too difficult to maintain - something along the lines of an RA81 rack with suitable controllers. Also I need a "cenetronics" type printer interface and, if such a beast exists some kind of Visualisation Kit (Graphic controller). I will arrange collection.
