I have a AT&T 6310 (AT compatible) that I am trying to alter the ROMS to
change the hard disk parameters table. I've located the table and have
burned new roms, but the roms fail the boot-up rom checksum test so
the machine will never boot.

I need to know how the checksum is calculated (I presume it uses a
standard formula), or even how to eliminate the checksum process
altogether.

Any help with this is appreciated.
