Subject: Sony 1303 intermittent failure with PowerGraph from STB

Has anybody out there had any problems with a Sony 1303 multisync
monitor driven by a PowerGraph VGA board from STB (Tseng 4000).

Monitor never gave any problems with Everex EVGA (8-bit) VGA card,
but with the new 16-bit card it every once in a while shuts down,
especially when just powered up. A coworker says that he's had the same
problem when he switched to a 16-bit card.

If you have any suggestions as to how to solve this problem, please
drop me a line. If it turns out to be a common problem I'll
summarize to the net.
