Howdy,
I've been given the task of finding a good grey scale
flatbed scanner.  I couldn't find anything in the last few issues
of my PC mags except adds for hand held scanners.

The scanner needs to work with a PC, and it would be nice if it
came with software or worked with software that runs under MS Windows.

Since the only manufacturer I know about is HP, I would appreciate
the names and phone numbers of other manfufacturers or maybe even
some recommendations.
