Message-ID: <5383@ryn.mro4.dec.com> Date: 29 Jun 91 23:39:54 GMT Sender: guest@ryn.mro4.dec.com Followup-To: comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 19 {Where can I}/{is there anywhere one can} find a reasonably complete and up to date list of hard disks (from all manufacturers) that satisfy certain criteria? Once/if I manage to get such a list, is there any better way to get detailed information about each drive than calling/writing each manufacturer and asking for spec sheets? I'm interested in ~150MB to ~300MB (formatted) SCSI disks (SCSI-2 greatly preferred, 'fast SCSI' nice, 'wide SCSI' not needed -- and, apparently, not yet available) for use with a 386/486 system. Unless requested not to by the sender, I'll post a summary of any information E-mailed to me. Thanks, Dave PS: Just in case it's not obvious, I'm looking for info on 'bare' drives.
