I have a 2400 baud modem from Practical Peripherals; it is really an OEM model of their brand name modem, but it is identical Anyways, it has a problem: I was running Procomm Plus, and when I disconnected from another computer, the bottom status line should say "OFF-LINE", but it really says "ON-LINE". I heard from several people and from a diagnostic program that the: 1) Carrier detect has failed, and 2) The "modem may not follow true state of DTR". So if any one has suggestions to remedy this, I would appreciate it... Thanks Yung *************************************************************************** Yung D.
