It is still possible to implement the capability via associating a File Type with a Program Item using the Advanced Menu in the Applications Menu. Strangely, enough their documentation shows the function on the menu tree and spends a page or two on how to use it. The command does not appear regardless of User mode. Aside from that gripe- the Shell has super features !
