He is wondering if there are any low cost cattle herd management programs out there for the PC. Obviously, there probably are, but trying to find them has been a challenge. Seems like alot of crop management programs are advertised in farm magazines, but cattle management programs seem to be fewer and far between (and cost $$$--he doesn't want to spend thousands on one--he has a small herd and also he is sort of dubious of their true value). Does anyone out there in "netland" have any suggestions? Any chance of there being a public domain, bare bones program somewhere out there? Thanks in advance, Scott Kell (scott@ecn.purdue.edu)
