My trusty Advanced MS-DOS Programming (Ray Duncan) tells me to use XFCB's (for unusual files: Dirs, Vols...) and function 17H of int 21. But to no avail. Has anyone tried this, and can you tell me the most obvious thing that I might be doing wrong. (I can mail you my code on request). Thanks Richard. -- Richard Puchmayer == puchm@cutmcvax.cs.curtin.edu.au | Some of us are poets, Masters Student at Curtin University of Technology, WA.| some of us are not! -------------------------------------------------------+------------------------ I know nothing, so can hold no opinions for myself or others...
