Several people have suggested hitting Control-A from the first menu of the
configuration disk.  I have tried this on both the configuration disk and the
advanced diagnostics disk but nothing happens, the ^A is appearently only for
the '286 and higher PS/2s.  Will programs such as SpinRite II or SpeedStor
work safely on a Model 30?
