Message-ID: <403@oiscola.Columbia.NCR.COM> Date: 27 Jun 91 01:22:16 GMT Reply-To: kornegay@oiscola.UUCP (Michael L. Kornegay) Followup-To: comp.sys.mac.comm Distribution: na Organization: NCR/OISD Columbia Lines: 17 Does anyone know if any alternate data link drivers exists for use under MacTCP? SLIP, PPP, and other protocols "could" be implemented by writing a pseudo-ethernet driver whose upper half provides the Ethernet interface MacTCP desires, and whose lower half implements an alternate protocol such as SLIP or PPP. These sort of drivers are reportedly common in the DOS world, I was wondering if any existed on the Mac for MacTCP? Please respond via e-mail, I will summarize to net as appropriate. -- ---------- Michael L. Kornegay, michael.kornegay@columbiasc.ncr.com, x7894/x7956, or mlk@bir.com, and mlk@bir.uucp
