In response to my prior posting asking why my Mac's clock was losing
time, I've gotten mail from about 8 people, most asking about related
problems, some saying replace the battery (I've done that several
times-- no effect), others saying resolder everything. I may try the
latter suggestion and get a new power supply to boot, but the
car-owner's nightmare comes to mind: Ask for a complete (and expensive)
overhaul only to discover the problem's still there. Then again I may
just live with resetting the clock once a week...
