I have tested both MacPrint and JetLink Express and each has their strengths and weaknesses. Ask yourself this: Will you be using Adobe Type Manager or will you be wanting to more often use the fonts built into the printer or in a cartridge? If you want to use HP or cartridge fonts, go with MacPrint. It handles those fonts better. However, if you use ATM a lot and want to print to the LaserJet with Adobe Type 1 fonts, get JetLink Express. MacPrint often has problems with ATM and will produce flawed output whereas JetLink Express will do a beautiful job of converting Type 1 fonts into HP output. JetLink Express is also much easier to install and use, and I find its documentation to be slightly superior.
