Lines: 17 I am looking for a WORM (or other random access media (ie: random access DAT) that will work across several hardware platforms (PC/DOS, MAC, SPARC/SUN Os, VAX/ULTRIX, VAX/VMS). Am I asking for too much !! Ok Ok once you stop laughing, let me describe my problem. I need to transfer very large data archives (~650 Mb) between these hardware platforms. Given the size of the archive, transfers via a LAN are out of the question. Further only a portion (~10-50 Mb) of the archive will be of intrest at any given time. I think the interface of choice is SCSI. I have no problem writing my own device drivers, however I would really like to avoid it. Any Ideas? -- * Bruce Trvalik AOA-----------------* * (617)864-0201 Disclaimer, I don't need no stinkin Disclaimer * moose@aoa.utc.com * aoa!moose@bbn.com
