Does it set a global? Where? The reason I ask is that my app, after a short time of use, seems to be doing what IM6 seems to say (it's pretty vague) SetOutlinePreferred does; makes the system use scaled TrueType fonts instead of bitmap ones. Since I'm certainly not calling SetOutlinePreferred (don't even have the glue for it), I can only assume I'm stepping on something. If I knew what was being stepped on, I could catch it with a Step Spy. I've tried tracing _FontDispatch, but my knowledge of 68000 assembler just isn't good enough to follow it without getting hopelessly muddled. So, does anybody know what SetOutlinePreferred actually does? -- Steve Dorner, U of Illinois Computing Services Office Internet: s-dorner@uiuc.edu UUCP: uunet!uiucuxc!uiuc.edu!s-dorner
