I just received a maintenance quote from Mips for our M/2000.
Needless to say, the total was *very* high, and it should be
interesting trying to convince our dept head that we really
do need a maintenance contract.  If possible, I would like to
put our hardware maintenance out for a bid.
My question for the net is:

What are your experiences with 3rd party HW maintenance for 
Mips boxes?
