One thing you can do with these sources from ucbarpa is to see an example implementation of the transcom command (the -t option). These sources shows how to use tektools on a sun to process the data. I've written ps3270 for the NeXT which processes the data as PostScript by messaging Preview. Sources are in the NeXT archives.
