From todays Wall Street Journal, "IBM paid more than $10 million for the rights to the first version of NeXTStep..." Seems like a pretty high price for something that's "not being adopted by anyone". Also, let's not forget the 250 NeXT computers purchased by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department, 500 units ordered by Bozell Inc., "sizeable" DARPA order, and First National Bank of Chicago order. Kinda sounds like NeXT is doing ok to me, especially with $45-50 in sales for this quarter. Wish I could make that much in one quarter. *Disclaimer - I don't work for NeXT.
