We are looking at Abaton Scan 300/GS, Canon's IX-30F Image Scanner, HDS's Scan-X Professional, VISUS's Scanners, etc. I would like to hear what people's experiences has been with these or others. Especially what software people are using. I don't always keep up with this news group all the time so please respond to me at : bormand@nmsu.edu We are primarily trying to provide a easy to use scanner for students to load images to their own disk space, but are interested in character recognition (OCR) also. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
