        Anyone know how to turn these things off:

ld.so: warning: /usr/lib/libc.so.1.6 has older revision than expected 101

        There are some situations where it's ok for me to use
a shared lib that isn't the latest version.  I'm tired of the messages
(and also explaining to users "ignore that for now").

	Any option I can give to ldconfig?  Any symlink trickery that
can be done?  Just going back and forth between real X11 and OW is enough
to start these messages flying :-(
