I'm trying to convert the xtex bdf fonts so that xtex will run under
OpenWindows and am experiencing (I think) unusual behavior. When I run
the command : bldfamily -f 32 
in $OPENWINHOME/lib/fonts, all the newly converted *.bdf to *.fb fonts
now have a ..ff extension, eg: cmr10.fb ==> cmr10..ff

And of course that is no good. Has anyone else encountered this (and
hopefuly solved it)?
