I'm having problems with linking to the X11R4 library libXt.sa.4.0.
The libraries are from ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (sun4-os4).

In particular, as distributed, when I link to libXt.sa.4.0, ld complains that
they're out of date (although i've moved them to the system directory
with the -p option to cp).  However, the program runs fine.  If I run
ranlib on the library, ld is happy, but the program dies with a 

ld.so: Undefined symbol: __XtInherit

Has anyone come across this problem?  Any help is appreciated.
