Nothing I say, nothing I do, no spells I cast have made it work as a dumb terminal on either an async modem or my 3B2/400 (SysV 3.2). I've RTFMs until my eyes fell out. I can't see any reference about setting it up as a plain 'ol terminal, but lots about hooking it up to a host, and putting it into forms mode and control mode and suchlike. Some people have muttered things like "I'll sell you a Unisys mainframe to plug it into" but nothing remotely helpful. Have I missed something in the configuration? Does it have DIP switches inside that aren't mentioned in the docs? I hate to see it sit gathering dust because I can't use it. Its got a good display and the best keyboard I've ever seen on a terminal. TIA, email appreciated... -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie "The Bear" Lear | clear@cavebbs.gen.nz | Kawasaki Z750GT DoD#0221 The Cave MegaBBS +64 4 642269 V22b | PO Box 2009, Wellington, New Zealand --------------------------------------------------------------------------
