Hello all,

I don't seem to be able to use the "Z" option to compress downloaded
fonts with DVIPS 5.47 under VAX VMS.  When I put "Z" in the config.ps
file, the output from DVIPS causes my printer to flush the job after
giving me the message:

undefined: Name not known - offending command is D

I am printing to an Apple laserwriter through ScriptPrinter software
from my VAX, and have also tried SendPS from a Macintosh, with the
same problem.  So, this appears to be a problem with DVIPS itself.
When I take out the "Z" from the config file, I have no problems,
but it would be nice to figure this one out.  Anyone else seen this?

As an anecdotal piece of information, DVIPS 5.47 produces a file that
is 841 blocks long, compared with a file of 1764 blocks from Arbortext's
DVILASER/PS, from a sample file.  (A block is 512 bytes under VMS.)
