Ingres Version 6.3, AIX 3001 on a 540 - 64MB Memory, tons of swap and 
other disk space.  The problem is that qbf periodically hangs when 
doing a save or append on a small database table. 

iimonitor shows the session to be in a CS_EVENT_WAIT (BIO) state.

Has anyone else come across this - is it an ingres problem or an AIX 
one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
