Keywords: Perl, floating point bug, help Message-ID: <1991Jun26.044627.1538@cpsc.ucalgary.ca> Date: 26 Jun 91 04:46:27 GMT References: <1991Jun26.040145.20336@acs.ucalgary.ca> Organization: U. of Calgary Computer Science Lines: 13 Has anyone got perl 4.010 to compile under Esix 3.2 Rev D? I have been at it for 2 days now, and I am no further ahead. The problem is seemingly twofold: the standard cc breaks on doio.c (several lines, all involving a declaration in a code block), and gcc makes it generate code that causes an immediate floating point exception right after I type 'make test'. Does anyone have it working? Can you e-mail me and enlighten me if you do? It would be much appreciated. Mike Hoffos
