Amaresh,

I was talking to my Video card vendor (STB) yesterday looking for a new Windows
driver.  I mentioned my previous problems with mouse droppings and that you 
had the same problem on a different brand of VGA card.  I told them what I
did to get rid of the problem and they were quite surprised that worked.  They
said (as Joe correctly stated) that it's a hardware problem, most likely a
bad DAC (digital to analog converter).

Joe's right, get a new card.
