Can X-Windows applications make use of PostScript fonts directly? Has Sun moved to Release 2 of the AFm file format, and started to include kern-pairs and composite character details? Is there someone to whom these questions would be better addressed? Lots of questions... but I'd be awfully grateful for answers.
