I've just installed System V rel. 4.0 on my i486 workstation, and I'm
trying to get X11 up.  When I start the xserver (via xinit),
everything seems to work fine except only about the upper 1/4 of the
screen is visible.  The rest of the screen is blank or filled with
horizontal lines.  The visible part seems to work OK: mouse, cursor,
etc.  Does anyone have an idea of what might cause such a condition?
