The X on ULTRIX prior to ULTRIX V4.2 is X11R3; ULTRIX V4.2 supplies X11R4. Your problem is not likely to be caused by something 'different' between an X Window System distribution from MIT and one from DEC - it's probably something wrong in your program, sorry to say. Give that you haven't provided ANY detail about what goes wrong (beyond a core dump) i doubt that anyone can help you. A stack trace from DBX might be helpful - or even a code fragment. (Please don't take this as a flame, but your posting was equivalent to dropping your car off at the garage with no instructions as to what's wrong. Any reponse that you get will be pretty unlikely to solve your problem..) -Rick -- Rick Murphy, WA1SPT/4 DEC Washington ULTRIX Resource Center Domain: murphy@burfle.dco.dec.com -or- murphy@ufp.enet.dec.com Bang: decwrl!ufp.enet!murphy Ding: (301) 306-2985 Disclaimer: This nonsense came from an AI program written in TECO.
