Re: 27 people being detained following capture by National
Police 6/15/91


This afternoon, Friday 1pm CDT, ASDI reported that the 22 men
and 5 women who were being detained at Mariona and Ilopango
prisons for a second 72 hour detention period, are in the
process of being released; and the two children are accounted
for.  ASDI reports they have sent people to Mariona and
Ilopango to receive the people as they are released.  ASDI has
called a press conference for 2:30 pm (Salvadoran time) today.
They have not been told anything about their equipment or
confiscated vehicles.

I will post any further information as I receive it.
