This organization, in an attempt to save money in this recession, decides to cut back staff. Logical. So they sack their fund raiser. Not logical. The admin types are always the last to go. I think what irked me the most is that there were only 6 blind employees there out of a staff of about 30 and he was one of them. Go figure. I'm sure everyone has complaints about their organizations, but as it was put to me in a board meeting: "You're in your twenties, 85 per cent of the blind community are seniors." This from the head honcho. Cheers, Jeff -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!163!207.666!Jeff.Dubois Internet: Jeff.Dubois@p666.f207.n163.z1.fidonet.org
